Tour Eiffel – Location: Paris, France.
The Tour Eiffel was built in 1889, and was until 1930 the tallest structure ever built in the world. It was originally supposed to have been a temporary structure, however leaving it where it stands seems to have been a correct decision, as it now is without a doubt, France’s most recognizable landmark.
