One of Rio’s most identifiable landmarks, the Pao de Acucar mountain has featured since 1912, a fantastic cablecar ride to the top of its highest peak. The sensation given by the new glass gondolas currently used since 1972, make the ride a lot scarier than it looks. The peak is 1300ft above the sea below.
