This North American desert region’s extreme weather conditions can range from below freezing to over 130 F (approx. 55 C). Death Valley’s most “deadly” feature however, is a complete lack of natural water sources, and almost no measurable rainfall. The region has claimed many who ventured into it unprepared for the harsh area conditions.
